iRock
has now been launched. This is an exciting new recording project for
secondary schools. It's aim is to support and develop school rock bands
and give them an opportunity to record in a professional studio
environment. Up to 6 bands can record over two days . The tracks are
then mixed and mastered into a compilation which can then be sold to
students and parents. For more information please contact VMS and we will
come out to your school and fully explain how the project works.
4FRONT
is a new
compilation project for
established Adelaide bands. Four bands of similar
styles record 2 tracks each which is then mixed and 500 CDs
are produced for the bands to sell at their gigs. The Bands pay 50% (
$400 each band) of total production cost at the time
of recording with the remaining 50% paid to the studio as the CDs
are sold. This is an innovative way of getting your music out to a
different audience without breaking the bank.The project works on many
levels.
